[2023 Edition] What should the next Ultimate Collector Series set be?

Posted by ,

Four years ago, we solicited suggestions and created a poll to determine the most popular candidates for future Ultimate Collector Series products. Fifteen options were chosen and five of them have since been released, including the fantastic 75313 AT-AT and 75367 Venator-class Republic Attack Cruiser!

With these arrivals, it is time to canvass opinion once again, starting with your nominations. They can also encompass sets that would likely be released under the Master Builder Series banner, as well as the Ultimate Collector Series.

In addition, you can suggest new versions of subjects seen in the Ultimate Collector Series before, which would form part of a separate poll.

We would therefore like Brickset readers to answer this question: what should the next Ultimate Collector Series, or Master Builder Series, set be? Share your opinion in the comments and look out for the subsequent poll soon.

We’ve never had an actual droid control ship in Lego form yet, so perhaps that? Maybe not the most exciting but UCS scale may be appropriate.

AT-TE similar to the AT-AT. More clone troopers, cool functions, etc.

A new display focused Death Star. Not a player, but a UCS model of the Death Star (1 or 2) that focuses on detail.

IDK... Jabba's Palace playset? It has been a few years since the "it looks like a mosque" controversy and Boba Fett's palace ran without reviving the controversy. Just all in one give us a building with Jabba, the Rancor and all the aliens we haven't seen in a while. Hasbro has even released a 'slave' Leia action figure as recently as 2020 so whatever that whole "Disney won't let merchandise do the golden bikini" controversy was has also blown over. Also in the style of the Mos Eisley Cantina just include a ton of figures in general. 20 or so dedicated to the original Return of the Jedi scenes, then maybe five more (old Boba Fett, Fennec Shand, Cobb Vanth a few Pykes) and then they got Book of Boba Fett covered as well. Even toss in Jabba's son as a bonus figure if you really want to get The Clone Wars guys invested (a lot sure happens in that palace doesn't it?)

Gravatar
By in United States,

After seeing how well LEGO did with Venator, I really want a UCS Home One Starcruiser now. But I think the Jedi Temple or Jabba's Palace could work really well as MBS set.

Gravatar
By in Czechia,

Sandcrawler, I mean SANDCRAWLER (bigger than AT-AT).

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'd definitely choose jabba's palace/rancor pit. Those two cost so much that they just NEED to release the figures again (and without derpy chewbacca) If this weren't star wars, I would probably want a minecraft set with layers.

Gravatar
By in United States,

A trade federation MTT (either from Episode 1 or, better yet, the blue and grey Clone Wars color) would be amazing if it was done along the lines of the AT-AT or Razor Crest.
The Invisible Hand would also make a really good UCS set.
The one I'd buy in a heartbeat, though, would just be another Slave I/Firespray, now with an interior. It would probably be the most affordable of these, too.

There is still so much untapped potential for prequel UCS sets. I'd particularly love to see these three:

Gravatar
By in United States,

Lucrehulk-class Battleship.

We have yet to get that thing for the Trade Fedoration in Phantom Menace or the Separatists in the Clone Wars. Optional blue and while markings could be cool. Just give me the big gray donut with the ball, it's been too long.
There was even an official LEGO video featuring one, and it was to promote the Naboo Starfighter Microfighter back in 2019. https://youtu.be/XmL3YJFoPLI Specifically 1:14. Even if it's fan made, it's perfect.

I think a UCS Sail Barge would be good. It seems like a lot of the Jabba’s Palace/Barge stuff has been put on the back burner. What does get released for it is usually aimed at adults anyway.

It can even be a poly bag

Gravatar
By in United States,

Some MBS sets:
Mos Espa podrace
Theed palace
Kamino
Geonosis arena
Jedi Temple
Senate building
Mustafar
Scarif
Yavin IV base
Hoth (but good)
Jabba's Palace(similar to Gringotts)
Endor bunker
Maz's castle
Crait
Luk'e's island
Exegol

Sequel ones probably won't get made, but I wanted to include some from those movies.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Can we get another location-based set like Mos Eisley please?! The ships are amazing but the symmetrical, light grey builds get a little old (looking at you, 4 identical legs on the AT-AT)

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

An affordable one!

Gravatar
By in United States,

MBS:
Yavin
Endor
Hoth
Jedi Temple
Death Star play set (not just a big ball with no interior, the GWP did that just fine)
Jabba's Sail Barge/Palace/Rancor Pit

UCS for the most part doesn't interest me as much, only the current UCS Falcon has gotten me to buy. I will probably eventually pick up the AT-AT.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Honestly, I never thought we'd actually get a Venator, so like, my good will will carry me through for a few years, but I think I'd like a big Endor Ewok village, I think that would be fun.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm thinking either Luke's Landspeeder or something no one really expected so it wasn't a popular wish from the community so it gets heavily criticized as something no one wanted.

But naw! Joking aside.
When it comes to a UCS, I'd like to see either a TIE Advanced to go with the X-Wing we just got.
When it comes to a Master Build series, my personal wish is the Endor Bunker! I was praying we'd get one this year because of the whole Return of the Jedi anniversary, but.... That didn't happen! Oh well! So maybe next time.

Nebulon-B

Gravatar
By in Australia,

A master builder series Jedi Temple would be at the top of my list for this.

Other than that, I'd love to see a UCS nebulon B or home one to go with the star destroyer from a few years ago, or a huge ghost model similar to the falcon.

Also, these two wouldn't get made for a few years because they're way to similar to this year's UCS sets, but I'd love to see Poe's x-wing or a resurgent class star destroyer.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Wasn’t it kinda certain in May we will get a TIE Bomber?

I would prefer a Nebulon B Frigate or ARC-170

Gravatar

UCS Ghost

UCS Nebulon B Frigate

Gravatar
By in United States,

Gotta have more prequel UCS sets:
- AT-TE
- Anakin's/Obi-Wan's Jedi Interceptors (Ep 3)
- Clone Turbo Tank
- Gungan Sub
- AAT
- AT-AP Walker
- Droid Control Ship
- Droid Landing Craft
- Jango Fett's Slave I
- ARC-170 Starfighter
- Darth Maul's Sith Infiltrator
- Anakin's Podracer
- Updated Naboo Starfighter

As for MBS, the Jedi Temple, Geonosis Arena or any battle from Ep 3 (Kashyyyk, Utapau, etc.)

Gravatar
By in United States,

MBS: Geonosian Arena, Jedi Council, Jabba's Palace with Rancor pit.

UCS: I have little interest in anything not minifigure scale. But how about a Battle Droid with STAP?

Gravatar

I'm sure it's not even something Disney would approve, but an UCS Ebon Hawk would probably be the first one that's a must buy for me.

UCS MTT that holds 112 droids. Though I am satisfied going for that one MOC on Rebrickable because Lego will probably never want to do that.
UCS AT-TE
UCS Juggernaut Clone Turbo Tank
Minifig scale UCS LAAT/I Republic Gunship (meaning it is more detailed than any minifig gunship from before but not oversized like the last UCS one)
UCS Imperial Lambda Shuttle
Minifig-scale UCS U-Wing

Master Builders Jabbas Palace
Master Builders Coruscant City & Senate
Master Builders Jedi temple
Master Builders Geonosis Arena

Master Builders Imperial Endor Bunker with some forrest area
Master Builders Theed Palace
Master Builders Mustafar Mining Complex / Battle of the Heroes
Master Builders Kamino

UCS Rogue One Zeta Shuttle
UCS Droid Control Ship Lucrehulk Freighter
UCS Invisible Hand
UCS Ebon Hawk
UCS Jabbas Sailbarge

Only mention the sailbarge for completeness, the Palace is more important.

Please just more minifig-compatible stuff in general. The 200$ action figure starships are impossible to work into my collection.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The Rogue One shuttle

Gravatar
By in United States,

jabba's Sail Barge anyone?

Gravatar
By in Japan,

I’d love to have the Invisible Hand. It’s my second favorite ship behind the Malevolence, and would be great to go along with the new Venator. (Though it may be best for a 2025 release, for the 20th anniversary of RotS).

Pipe-dream set would be a UCS Malevolence, but it’s a bit niche, and we haven’t had a set from animation alone without any movie appearances. I was surprised they even made the 2012 one, back when it came out.

Gravatar

I want an ultimate collector edition Jedi Temple. A droid control ship or a clone turbo tank would also be nice.

Yeah that would definitely be something I would but too. It would be amazing if they made it have an interior like the Falcon.
A MBS Star Forge similar to the Death Star I with both dark side and light side endings for KOTOR along with all of the playable characters, Malak, Sith Assassins, Sith Troopers and old republic troopers would be amazing.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Kamino playset with Jango’s ship to go with it

Or something Jabba

For ships maybe that submarine jar jar thing, or the princess silver ship

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Is UCS specific to Star Wars or can it apply to any film genre? If not, the Nostromo or Enterprise.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

MBS Jabba's Palace, complete with rancor pit.

MBS Endor Bunker, with some good, brick-built trees, a couple of speeder bikes, and a goodly amount of minifigs, including Ewoks.

Oh - and a bigger home to put them in.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Home 1, Nebulon B or a rerelease of a tie Interceptor. Three x-wings now with no suitable opponent

Gravatar
By in Germany,

There should be an effort for more minifig scaled UCS style sets.
Republic Gunship for example, this years iteration is just far too low on detail and accurate shaping. A model of the caliber of the many MOC instructions online is a necessity when the mainline Gunships can't move on from their edgy styling.
Similarly all the walkers nowadays are gimped by Legos reluctance to do moving knee joints. AT-STs and similar walkers are a disgrace since 2014.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I was on Team Nebulon-B back when the vote happened, so that would be awesome.

But as for someone who doesn't really collect UCS models, I'd like to see a remake of the Death Star II, Naboo Starfighter or Slave I, the latter only because it's my favourite Star Wars ship.

For MBS sets, the Jedi Temple, Jabba's Palace, Theed Palace or an Ewok Village Remake. I was about to throw in the Endor Bunker as well, but a set about the size of this year's Yavin 4 Base would be better IMO.

Gravatar
By in United States,

U-Wing with the entire Rogue One crew and Saw Gerrera.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

An updated TIE Interceptor or TIE advanced would be cool.
I want a Jedi temple, but instead of a 4000+ piece ucs Jedi temple with interior, I'd rather have a smaller set in the style of 76419 Hogwart.
And further a Nebulon-B frigate needs to happen at some point.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Since my opinion is the only one that matters, it should be the Eagle 5 the Winnebago. Other ideas are respectable but my opinion is the right choice to make.

By in United States,

RotJ Speederbike

@xboxtravis7992:
I vaguely remember hearing that Slave I had received a similar ban, but all they ended up doing was calling it something that didn't include the word "slave". Leia may be under the same restriction, rather than an outright ban. She did kill the literal biggest badguy of the OT with the literal chains of her opression while wearing that outfit, after all.

@Murdoch17:
Heh. I ended up with a second copy of 40451, and I built it to be viewed from the back, with the homestead on fire, and two burnt corpses. I've been calling it the 1st Annual Lars Family Barbeque.

@Kone:
Isn't the B-WIng a Mon Calamari design?

@merman:
I remember someone throwing out a theory that the Nebbie, TIE Bomber, and Gunship were all designed and ready to go, and that the only thing the vote determined was release order. I've not seen any serious confirmation of this theory.

@560heliport:
I could maybe go for a STAP, but I want the speederbike first.

Gravatar
By in Slovenia,

Definitely Jabba's palace/rancor pit!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

UCS Sandcrawler
UCS Ghost
UCS TIE Interceptor (already rumoured for next year)
UCS TIE Bomber
UCS Darth Vader’s TIE Advanced
UCS Nebulon B

Gravatar
By in United States,

Large scale figures:
Droideka
Battle droid (maybe with STAP)
Pit droid
Maybe the Gungan horse-duck thingies.
Super Battle droid
Dwarf Spider droid
L3-37
K-2S0
Chopper
Gonk Droid
Mouse Droid
Salacious B. Crumb
Rancor
Jabba The Hutt
Wicket

Maybe C-3PO could work, and of course we can't forget Jar Jar Binks.

Gravatar
By in United States,

After getting the venator, I think we need an invisible hand/ providence dreadnaught

If it’s has to be OT though, I’d like to see the Sentinel Shuttle

And finally for a ST set, Poe’s Black One X-Wing would probably be best

Gravatar
By in United States,

Well we already know the spring set is a tie interceptor. So hopefully a location based set next fall. Geonosis, Jedi Temple or Kamino would be my top 3.

Gravatar
By in France,

UCS Executor Super star destroyer
UCS Nebulon-B
UCS B-wing

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Knowing that the various speeder bikes in sets just get larger and larger it might be interesting to have that evolution take us to the logical last step of going UCS.

Failing that, going to add my voice to the choir of people suggesting the Ghost. I know we just had the revamped version, but I’ve always thought it was a cool looking ship, is iconic enough that they keep giving it cameos, and going big woukd allow some of the detail the set versions have to sacrifice

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Not really interested in more huge boxes of grey pieces...
...but since Lego have shown they are quite happy to release music related sets (BTS, Rolling Stones tongue etc)...
...and they have released a whole series of masks, helmets etc for Star Wars, Marvel etc...
...I'm still waiting for the Slipknot mask series

Inside my shell I wait and build (with Lego), etc

Gravatar
By in Spain,

The UCS are not my cup of tea... expensive, generally not at minifigure scale, unaffordable for a family economy... but they are necessary, I suposse. The playsets, like the Cantina and Ewok Forest are my favourites. So I 'd like some similar scenario or landscape.

Gravatar
By in United States,

How about a large black falcon castle? All this rehashing and micro representing every scene of Star Wars got old 5 years ago.

I don't think many people would have the room to house a minifigure scale Death Star; 3.6km in diameter for the first one or 4.4km for the second one.

2. AT-TE
3. Jedi Starfighter remake
4. ARC-170 Starfighter
5. Jedi Interceptor
6. Vader's TIE Advanced remake
7. Imperial Shuttle remake
8. AT-ST remake
9. Death Star II remake
10. Super Star Destroyer remake
11. Jabba's Sail Barge
12. The Ghost (probably the one I'd want the most)
13. Naboo Royal Starship
14. Mandalorian Gauntlet Ship
15. Mon Calamari Cruiser
16. Nebulon-B Frigate
For MBS:
1. Death Star remake
2. Yavin 4 Base
3. Echo Base remake
4. Jabba's Palace
5. Battle of Endor remake
6. Jedi Temple
7. Tipoca City
8. Mustafar Duel

Death Star

UCS Ideas:

Lucrehulk-Class Battleship
Anakin’s Podracer
N-1 Starfighter
The Ghost
U-Wing
Sandcrawler
Jabba’s Sail Barge
Home One
Death Star II
Rey’s Speeder
The Supremacy

MBS:

Theed
Jedi Temple
Jabba’s Palace
Starkiller Base

Gravatar
By in United States,

Jabba’s throne room! Not necessarily the whole palace because that would be way too big, but I would love to see a really well done throne room. It would have to include the original Max Rebo Band trio. And whatever other aliens they’d like to include!

Gravatar
By in Austria,

High time they re-do the Death Star II.
And with the current building techniques AND prices...they CAN make a Death Star that doubles as the Death Star I and Death Star II, by having extra pieces included so people can decide which version to display.

Otherwise:
- Imperial Shuttle (time for a remake)
- Darth Vader's TIE Advanced
- Trade Federation Lucrehulk-class Droid Control Ship
- Darth Maul's Sith Infiltrator
- Naboo's Nubian Royal Starship (ONLY if they make it ENTIRELY in chrome silver. 'cause if it's like the Mandalorian N-1 Starfighter, they might as well stay put).

Gravatar

Gravatar

MTT with heaps of battle droids.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

TIE Bomber

Just as it should have been when the gunship got voted in and then complained about by those who voted for it...

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I’ll second the people suggesting the Zeta Class Shuttle (Rogue One)

Gravatar
By in Guernsey,

U Wing would be dope

Gravatar
By in United States,

MBS Geonosian Arena
A UCS MTT with a BUNCH of droids, I think it'd be a cool gimmick

Gravatar
By in Finland,

Death Star
+10K parts ...

Gravatar
By in United States,

A UCS minifigure scale Multi Troop Transport would be fantastic. 7662 is my favourite set of all time, and I can only imagine a full size proper one would be able to be so much better.

Gravatar
By in Denmark,

Home One
Nebulon Frigate
TIE Bomber

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Staying in Prequel era :
- Consular-class space cruiser ( 7665 Republic Cruiser)
- Gungan Submarine
- Lucrehulk-class battleship
- Geonosis Arena (probably better off as Master Builder series)
- MTT

Gravatar
By in United States,

Jedi Temple seems to be the one glaring omission of sets they've never made in general, a ucs one with part of an interior with key scenes would be amazing.

Gravatar
By in United States,

For UCS:
Anakin and Sebulba's Podracers
Gungan Sub
N-1 Starfighter (not Mando's but Mando's would still be neat)
MTT (with the necessary qty of droids)
AAT
AT-TE
ARC-170
Clone Turbo Tank
Obi-Wan and Anakin's Jedi Starfighters/Interceptors
U-wing
The Ghost and Phantom (include both the Rebels and Ahsoka crews)
Ahsoka's T-6 Jedi Shuttle

I'm cool with any pre-2015 remake, too.

I also think a UCS Rey's Speeder would be cool, but I know that's an unpopular opinion.

For MBS:
Theed Palace
Geonosis Arena
Jedi Temple
Lars Homestead
Echo Base (but for real this time)
The Great Pit of Karkoon (full Sail Barge scene, not just the Barge on its own. Sarlacc and all)
Maz's Castle
Exegol Sith Temple
Nevarro
Battle of Mos Espa
Battle of Ferrix

Gravatar
By in Slovenia,

MTT, Naboo Starfighter or ARC-170.. definetely something from the prequels era..

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Queen Amidala's Royal Starship (all in chrome)
Anakin's or Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter from Revenge of the Sith (with hyperdrive ring)
Trade Federation Battleship
An improved version of Vader's TIE Advanced (the prices of new sealed copies of the original are very high)
TIE Bomber

Gravatar
By in United States,

Before this year's Red Five remake, I would have said Poe's X-Wing, but that won't happen for a few years more.

Anakin and Sebulba's pod racers could be a nice set from the prequels.

Has to be a huge UCS MTT (Ep 1 version)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Ghost- the new set is nice, but a little disappointing in that the proportions and details can't be captured in a playset. With Ahsoka being as popular as it is, now is the perfect time to give this ship its due.
Tie-Bomber- at this point it is the best of the few ships from the original trilogy not to get the UCS treatment.
Naboo Fighter- the existing UCS set is pretty underwhelming compared to the rest of the line. Frankly, it isn't worthy of the title and should be replaced by a more detailed model.
Naboo Royal Starship- I don't know how it could be translated into lego, but I do know they can figure it out.
U-Wing- No real reason. I just like it.

"

Claudia Gray's book Bloodlines even addresses that when then Senator Organa meets some crime syndicate members during the New Republic era and they show her a hologram recording of her killing Jabba as a gift, then dub her "Huttslayer." The crime syndicate members were antagonists of the Hutt Clan and it was even suggested that Leia had to tap into the Force to get the strength to strangle Jabba.

Huttslayer is a handful to say but I have seen some costuming groups and fans start calling the gold bikini the "Huttslayer" outfit since, so there is a name for it that avoids using the word "slave."

Yeah that would definitely be something I would but too. It would be amazing if they made it have an interior like the Falcon.
A MBS Star Forge similar to the Death Star I with both dark side and light side endings for KOTOR along with all of the playable characters, Malak, Sith Assassins, Sith Troopers and old republic troopers would be amazing."

Yeah an interior and party members would be amazing. The interior is all mapped out obviously so if they could replicate that layout it would amazing.

By in United States,

Its time for another crack at a Bespin/Cloud City playset. Focus should be the carbon freeze chamber only, and not an amalgam of thrown-together scenes. Something akin the old Kenner micro world set. If not CFC, how about the Detention Block/Trash Compactor? Again, like the old micro world set.

Gravatar

The only thing I'd be guaranteed to purchase is a Podracer. But I think the Ghost with a corresponding Phantom would also be pretty compelling

Gravatar

Something I forgot in my previous post is that I think Lego should produce another life-size bust. The Darth Maul bust (10018) is one of my favourite Lego sets ever (it's been on display in my home for years - needs a jolly good dusting though). So I think Lego should produce a Vader or Jar Jar life-size bust (and no, I'm not joking about a life-size Jar Jar bust - I would certainly buy one).

I agree with so many choices already listed, but I'm going to just add the one that I think would be great, a UCS Speeder bike from ROTJ. No rider necessary. Even before the next UCS or Master Builder's set, LEGO please release a Nien Nunb minifig with whatever set you choose or as a GWP.

Sandcrawler
Jabba's Sail Barge

If I had to pick smaller vehicles:
Jedi Interceptor - duo set with a red and yellow would be cool, otherwise any color.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I wasn’t buying LEGO in 2013 when the Ewok Village came out, so I’d like a modern remake of that set. I don’t want to pay $500 for the original, but I’d pay that much for a well-done new version. The Kenner Ewok playset was one of my favorite toys as a kid and I like those dumb smelly bears.

But really I’d probably buy anything from the original trilogy. Not really into much Star Wars stuff beyond that.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I’d love to see a USC Ghost with the accompanying Phantom as separate set, like the buildable Iron Man that fits in the Hulkbuster. The Ghost deserves a build with a detailed interior and a cockpit actually that holds the whole crew and the Phantom needs to hold more than one. The Phantom set could build the OG or the 2 as a 2-in-1. And if they really want to do it up, you can split it up where you get the Rebels and Ashoka crews between both sets

The Ebon Hawk deserves a UCS set more than the ghost. We haven’t got a KOTOR set since 2013 if you count that Revan poly bag as a set. I’m not going to spend 200+ on a minifig as much as I like KOTOR.

3 ARC-170
Beautiful ship, lot of details to be reproduce in UCS scale, most suitable starfighter of the Prelogy for UCS line. Maybe the wing would be too fragile.

4 Lucrehulk control ship

I'd also buy, if they made it, an N1--either episode 1 or Mando's variant. Probably Mando's would be a better choice at this point since the original really needs proper chrome while Mando's can get away with a duller brushed steel look.

Were i able to choose, I think a UCS Tie Bomber would be amazing, either that or the ARC-170, but I would almost like to see the latter in a play set a bit more than a large UCS set style of build. If we are talking a master builder set in the style of the Battle of Hoth or Ewok Village, I think that a battle of Geonosis, would definitely be highly desirable. Perhaps just the arena would be nice as well. I have heard rumor of the Tie Interceptor being the next UCS set come May next year.

7784 was sold as the "Ultimate Collectors' Edition", and early UCS-style sets were sold under a variety of slightly different terms. Eventually, however, I think it was the SW design team who clarified that UCS is exclusive to SW. Other themes have released sets of similar quality, but they've always had to come up with their own titles. MBS is probably also exclusive to the SW theme, but again, MBS-equivalent sets have been released for a few other themes.

By in United States,

I’ve always felt the only UCS sets worth buying are the ones that represent something that simply isn’t possible at a play set scale. This the 2 that I purchased are Death Star and Ewok Village. So what I’d be interested in seeing are the following:

Jedi Temple on Coruscant
Geonosis Arena
Tatooine Homestead

While the Galactic Senate would be cool, I think you could very easily pull off a mini-senate at play set scale, maybe include Palpatine’s pod and 2 or 3 regular pods. You could always include 5 or 6 senators and simply swap them in and out. Besides, a UCS set would be way too repetitive.

I could go on for hours so I’m saying the first things that come in mind for each category.

Remake — Imperial Shuttle Tydirium, but they can’t go and put another $500+ price tag on it, I’d say $350 max.

MBS — Jedi Temple, but it would have to be completely enclosed like Mos Eisley not open like the Cloud City or Hoth.

UCS — I’ve always liked the V-19 Torrent but I doubt that would ever have a chance.
So something more popular would be Anakin’s Jedi Interceptor from the opening of ROTS

Also I would like Ahsoka’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle, I believe I’ve seen some MOC versions that look nice. Although it depends on how well the show does I guess.

This year marked 20 years of Knights of the Old Republic, and we got nothing. The remake seems to be languishing (thank goodness), but hey, in less than five years, we are coming up on 25 years of KotOR. A celebration at 25 years would be appropriate, and why not the Ebon Hawk?

(From a practical standpoint, I don't see any KotOR set happening unless a remake of the game happens, but I have no faith that the remake would honor the original. So it's a catch-22.)

It's not like the remake can ruin the old version and I would really like seeing a set for KOTOR and hopefully KOTOR 2, too when it gets a remake of its own. Jedi Fallen Order does have the BD droid, The old Republic had a couple sets, Force Unleashed has two sets and Battlefront a couple battlepacks. Videogame sets are kind of a given nowadays. All these comments and I can't believe I'm only the second person to nominate
The Sarlacc Pit!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I think an updated Ewok Village would be awesome for MBS, or for UCS it could be the Ghost, N1 Starfighter (Naboo or Mando) or TIE variant (any of the OT designs)

Gravatar
By in Finland,

I doubt this is a very popular suggestion, but I would dearly love to see the Radiant VII (the Republic Cruiser from the start of the Phantom Menace) represented somehow. Failing that, a dual pack UCS of Anakin's and Sebulba's podracers would be wicked.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

I see that I'm a little late to the party.

Nevertheless, here's a list of my personal favorites for an Ultimate Collector's Series set:

- AT-TE
- HAVw A6 Juggernaut (Clone Turbo Tank)
- Invisible Hand
- Radiant VII (Consular-class Cruiser)

And Master Builder Series:

- Death Star
- Geonosian Droid Factory
- Jedi Grand Temple
- Mustafarian Mining Complex (Duel on Mustafar)
- Petranaki Arena (Geonosis Arena)

A republic dropship with at-te as that's one of the more impressive prequel scenes.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

1/. Jabba’s Palace
2/. Jabba’s Palace
3/. Jabba’s palace
4/. Naboo Royal Starship/Padme's Ship (Wishful thinking with shape and chrome though) so may as well be Jabba’s Palace.

I know that the current AT-TE is phase 2, but wouldn’t it just make sense for Levi to release a $80-$90 Republic Dropship that is compatible with the current AT-TE and hopefully something else down the line?

Definitely time for a remake of the Imperial Lambda-class Shuttle, as I missed the first one..

UCS:

Ghost & Phantom I/II

MBS:

Any of these would be day 1 purchases

Gravatar
By in United States,

Definitely a fresh UCS Lambda Shuttle - 10212 is looking pretty dated and the cockpit needs updating.

I wouldn't mind a UCS Sith Infiltrator - despite all the earlier versions, we never really got a good looking one, IMHO. I voted for the UCS TIE Bomber a while back, but as stated above the 75347 turned out surprisingly well, so that may have taken the edge off! =o)

Agreed! A Minifigure / Falcon USC 1:1 scale of The Ghost with Phantom (original) would be really cool. Is should include figure variations from Rebels & Ahsoka.

- Zeta-class heavy cargo shuttle (including an updated minifigure selection of the Rogue One crew, especially with Cassian's updated skin tone)
- The Ghost and the Phantom II (perhaps with a replaceable original Phantom)
- TIE Reaper (+assorted other TIEs such as Vader's TIE Advanced x1)
- Sphyrna-class Hammerhead Corvette (could be accompanied by a separate CR-90 blockade runner corvette set)

By in France,

There is only two realistic big Droid set (Hailfire Droid set 4481 and General Grievous set 10186), but the first one is not considered as an UCS and the second one yes..
So :
- Any Droid Fighter
- MTT
- AAT
- Grievous' Starfighter
- The Malevolence

But why not :
- Anakin's Podracer
- AT-TE
- Republic Cruiser or Republic Frigate
- ARC-170
- Sith Infiltrator

Gravatar
By in United States,

1. Ghost UCS would be awesome
2. Anakin episode 3 starfighter
3. ARC-170 starfighter

Gravatar
By in United States,

I think if we go back to Lego's fan vote in which we got the Gunship, the second place was the Nebulon-B Escort Frigate so that one should come out at some point. It would be awesome to see a pod-racer and I know there are some amazing MOCS out there.

1. Nebulon-B Escort Frigate
2. Pod Racers (Anakin & Sebulba)
3. Jedi Starfighter
4. Naboo N-1 Starfighter
5. C3-P0 in scale to the R2D2
6. U-Wing from Rogue One
7. Zeta Class Shuttle from Rogue One
8. Tie Defender from Rebels
9. The Ghost
10. Stinger Mantis from Jedi Fallen Order

Gravatar

Thanos's flagship, Sanctuary II that'll be cool

Gravatar
By in United States,

Geonosian arena. I could see that being done justice for around the $300ish range (USD)

Gravatar
By in Mexico,

There are some sets that have never been rendered in LEGO form, either as UCS, Master Builder sets or System. The foremost example is the Geonosis Arena feature in Attack of the Clones. That would be an ideal Master Builder set. As for UCS-scaled ships, the most glaring omission so far is a rendition of Anakin's Jedi Starfighter from the opening scene of Revenge of the Sith. In the remake stage, I think the set that would benefit the most from new building techniques/pieces is the AT-ST, released way back in 2006 alonside Vader's TIE Advanced.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

MBS Jedi Temple would be amazing - we could have so many Jedi who either deserve a remake, or we've not seen in Lego before. Shaak Ti, Even Piell, Kit Fisto, Plo Koon, Yaddle, Yarael Poof, the rest of the Jedi Council and a Padawan Ahsoka from Clone Wars come to mind. Possibly even Cad Bane and Todo-360 also could be included considering their adventures in the Jedi Temple during the clone wars. A load of unnamed Padawans with a new helmet piece would be great too. As many Anakin figures as humanly possible too, in particular hooded Anakin from Order 66 (with yellow eyes?) and a load of 501st. I think if this ever became a set which had all of the things I just said, it would be way more hyped than the Venator or any other UCS or MBS ever.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Nebulon B Frigate
Mon Calamari Cruiser
Zeta Class Shuttle
U-Wing

Gravatar
By in United States,

Definitely some prequel ships, preferably CIS ships like a Lucrehulk or maybe even the Malevolence. New Disney stuff could be good too. A U-Wing would be nice, or maybe Kyle Ren’s Shuttle or even a 10143 style version of Starkiller Base.

Gravatar

How about a UCS or at least a Master Builder version of the Ewok Village?

Gravatar

Star Forge exists… we haven’t gotten any figures from KOTOR except for Darth Revan in 2014 and I’m not willing to pay $230 for one Minifigure no matter how cool it looks or how much I love KOTOR.

By in United States,

@Endermen39:
No, Home One is the flagship in RotJ, but it's also the only _named_ capital ship. There are other Mon Calamari cruisers that have a more streamlined, "winged" design, but the never got named. Galoob made Micro Machines of both Home One and one of the smaller cruisers. Prior to that, however, the Tantive IV from Ep4, the transports during the escape from Hoth, and the Nebulon B where Luke gets his new hand were the largest vessels we'd seen the Rebels use.

Right, I forgot about the Tantive and Nebulon but the tantive is a cruiser and the Nebulon B is a command ship only in smaller fleets. The Home One is the flagship for the Rebels. I probably only thought of the Home one because we never got a full set build and only a small scene from it. The GR-75 Medium transport ships which were used during the Rebel’s escape from Hoth are also, as you said, transport ships not a flagship.

Gravatar
By in Serbia,

I'd like to see a perfect rendition of the Lambda-class T-4a shuttle, better known as Shuttle Tyderium.

Other than that, it would be really cool to have a motorized/remote controlled AT-ST, that could really walk. But I suppose it's too hard to balance such a vehicle. But one can dream, right?

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I would label both the Mon Calamari Star Cruiser and the Nebulon B Frigate as "ships of note" based on their screen time and importance to the story.

Gravatar

Jango's Slave 1 / Firespray, prequel version. Boba's was the only UCS I've ever bought, and Jango's is the only I would consider buying now.

By in United States,

@Endermen39:

I did a little poking around.

https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/MC80A_Home_One_Type_Heavy_Star_Cruiser

According to Wookieepedia, there were at least eight MC80A heavy cruisers, including Home One, four of which have been identified by name in some source or another.

https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/MC80_Star_Cruiser

There was an unknown number of MC80 heavy cruisers, including the Liberty, which was the first one to get shot by the Death Star II’s main cannon.

https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Unidentified_Mon_Calamari_Star_Cruiser

And there was a third type of Mon Calamari heavy cruiser that hasn’t been given any canon description. It basically looked like the MC80 without the wings.

Tantive IV was a corvette, considered the smallest class of capital ship. Nebulon B was a class of escort frigate, which is a slightly larger capital ship. The transports used to evacuate Hoth were bulk freighters. Shorter than the Tantive IV, and not typically armed, they’re probably the largest vessel we saw the Rebellion use that was not classified as a capital ship.
